Regeneratively Sourced Coffees Heirloom is the first brand to offer 100% regeneratively sourced coffees in all of our products. Regenerative agriculture is the most sustainable way to grow and harvest coffee to preserve the crop for generations by conserving the land and soil.
Sustainable Roasting Our roastery has been re-built from the ground up to reduce waste in every aspect. We use 80% less water than a traditional roastery and roast using our customized highly insulated Diedrich CR-280 roaster resulting in 60% less natural gas used per pound of coffee. All exhaust is oxidized using cutting-edge smoke abatement technology.
Compostable by 2024 Our goal is for our packaging to be 100% backyard compostable by 2024. We're funding research to develop a longer shelf-life compostable package that will eliminate the need for single use plastics in coffee.

Water Conservation

Each acre of regenerative farmland can retain an additional 20,000 gallons of water compared to traditional agriculture. This water stays in the local water table.
